Private Label & Product Development

  • Develop long‑term private label strategy aligned with customer needs and market trends.
  • Lead product development, packaging, and branding from concept to launch.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to grow private label penetration.

Global Sourcing & Import Operations

  • Source international suppliers for cost‑effective, high‑quality products.
  • Manage supplier selection, negotiation, Incoterms, logistics, and customs compliance.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain on forecasting, lead times, and stock availability.

Supplier Management

  • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and quality standards.
  • Assess supplier capabilities, conduct audits, and ensure compliance.
  • Track supplier performance and service levels.

Category & Commercial Performance

  • Monitor sales, margins, trends, and pricing competitiveness.
  • Set pricing and promotions to maximize profitability.
  • Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure all products meet regulatory, labeling, and safety standards.
  • Partner with QA to maintain product quality and manage supplier issues.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Marketing on packaging design and brand campaigns.
  • Support Store Operations on merchandising execution.
  • Collaborate with Finance on budgets and profitability analysis.

Innovation & Trends

  • Identify new product ideas and emerging market trends.
  • Recommend innovation pipelines and seasonal product introductions.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the commercial team.
  • Promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Reporting

  • Prepare reports on performance, import status, cost savings, and strategic insights.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in commercial management, sourcing, private label development, or import operations.
  • Strong understanding of international sourcing, import regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Proven negotiation skills and supplier management experience with both local and overseas vendors.
  • Experience in product development, packaging, and brand positioning for private label.
  • Analytical mindset with strong capabilities in interpreting sales data, cost structures, and market trends.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and working cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, import documentation, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
