Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Review tax returns and advise on tax issues within WBG and its subsidiary companies.
Optimize tax liabilities and identify potential tax saving opportunities
Facilicate to lead discussions on tax issues and propose solutions to mitigate tax risks and report potential tax risks to immediate supervisor
Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure timely implementation
Be a representative of WBG to manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Assist in developing tax strategies and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Work closely with other departments, such as finance, legal and operations to ensure cross-functional collaboration on tax matters.
Review supporting and reference documents to accounting records
Oversee, and analyze accounting records, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
5 years of experience in taxation from group companies or accounting firm
Certified Cambodian Taxation is preferred
Experience with preparation of financial statements
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) user and administration skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening and interpreting skills
Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax compliance and legislation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and under the guidance of the Head of Taxation.
