Job Description

  • Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and pre-authorization requirements before admission or treatment.
  • Provide patients with clear information regarding their insurance entitlements, exclusions, and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to confirm coverage and claim requirements.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance claims in compliance with insurer requirements.
  • Track pending or denied claims, coordinate with insurers for resolution, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Assist patients and their families in understanding hospital insurance processes.
  • Provide advice on documentation needed for insurance claims.
  • Maintain accurate patient insurance records and claim documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, insurance agreements, and Cambodian healthcare regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Specialized training in insurance, healthcare management, or medical billing is an advantage.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in insurance services, claims processing, or customer service (Experience working with hospital is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of health insurance policies, claim procedures, and medical billing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with patients and insurance providers.

Working conditions:

  • Working days: 5 days per week.
  • Working hours: 8.00 – 18.00 (include 1-hour lunch break).
  • Days off, holiday: 2 days off per week (rotation).
  • Salary: Based on our policy/ Based on your performance
  • Pay change: Twice a year (January and July).
