About the Role

Keep the lights on, the water flowing, and an entire Special Economic Zone running — 24/7. As O&M Section Manager, you will lead the operations and maintenance of all utility systems and core infrastructure across SuSEZ, including high-voltage power distribution, water and wastewater treatment, reuse water, roads and drainage, telecoms, and waste management. This is a high-visibility role at the heart of the SEZ's reliability, safety, and growth — working directly with international investors, consultants, and multinational tenants.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Ensure stable, continuous, and efficient distribution of electricity, industrial water, and other utilities to SEZ tenants 24/7.
• Monitor system performance via SCADA/automation platforms; optimize consumption and minimize distribution losses
• Lead crisis management and rapid-response protocols during utility disruptions (e.g., power outages, pipe bursts)

Maintenance Management

• Develop and execute annual Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance schedules for infrastructure assets, pumps, blowers, transformers, and filtration systems
• Oversee Corrective Maintenance (CM) for fast, safe, high-quality repairs
• Establish and maintain SOPs and safety guidelines for operational processes

Budget & Resource Management

• Support the Department Manager in preparing annual OPEX/CAPEX budgets and control section expenditure
• Manage spare parts, tools, and materials to maintain optimal stock levels for critical equipment

Compliance, Health & Safety (EHS)

• Enforce environmental, effluent discharge, workplace safety, and SEZ-specific regulatory standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits
• Act as technical liaison with local authorities, government agencies, and state utilities

Team & Vendor Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate shift engineers and technicians
• Manage and inspect the work of third-party contractors and vendors

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5–7 years in O&M for utilities, industrial plants, power distribution, or water/wastewater treatment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role
• Technical & Soft Skills: Proficient in engineering blueprints, electrical single-line diagrams, P&ID, and hands-on familiarity with SCADA, PLC, or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Soft skills
• Soft skills : Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and crisis-management skills.
• Language: Good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Professional License: Not required; a valid Associate/Professional Engineer license is a strong advantage
