Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

To lead the expansion of LHSBI Insurance in provincial markets by driving sales, developing networks, and providing customer service support, while operating remotely without a physical office setup. This role is highly entrepreneurial, requiring a committed individual to pioneer our presence in the assigned province.

 

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Actively promote and sell general insurance products to individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
  • Identify and approach potential clients, agents, and business partners in the province.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by HQ.

2. Market Expansion & Networking

  • Build strong relationships with local communities, businesses, associations, and partners.
  • Represent LHSBI Insurance at events, seminars, and networking activities in the province.
  • Explore partnership opportunities all the bank and other financial/strategic partners.

3. Customer Service & Claim Support

  • Provide initial claim assistance to customers and coordinate with HQ Claims Department for processing.
  • Ensure smooth communication between clients and HQ on policy servicing, renewals, and inquiries.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain regular communication with HQ Sales team and provide weekly sales activity reports.
  • Share local market insights, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare reporting for HQ for updates and tracking.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or insurance, preferably within the province
    • Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets. Strong persuasive and negotiation skills
    • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to manage time and territory effectively
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned province
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Flexibility to attend networking events, seminars, and meetings outside of standard business hours
