Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for the Vegetable Cleaning Project, including fresh produce cleaning, processing, and value-added services. The role focuses on expanding market share, managing key customers, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote vegetable cleaning and processing services.
• Identify new business opportunities with farms, suppliers, wholesalers, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and food processors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
• Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and pricing negotiations.
Market & Customer Management
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.
• Manage key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with operations and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
Team & Performance Management
• Lead, coach, and supervise the sales team (if applicable).
• Set sales targets, KPIs, and monitor team performance.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Project & Operations Coordination
• Work closely with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, hygiene requirements).
• Support project planning, capacity utilization, and service improvement initiatives.
Administration & Reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales plans and budgets.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Report sales performance to senior management.
