Job Purpose:

Trade Plan Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting effective planning, execution, and tracking of all trade promotions and non‑trade space activities to drive sales performance and operational excellence. The position ensures timely reporting, accurate campaign setup, and strong cross‑functional coordination with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Demand Planning teams, while providing insights to improve promotion effectiveness, pricing accuracy, and in‑store execution across offline and online platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver weekly and post‑promotion reports, including analysis and insights on promotion performance
  • Monitor low‑performing promotions, identify root causes, and escalate to Category Managers
  • Share daily and weekly promotion communications, competitor activities, and promotional materials with stakeholders
  • Present promotion plans and results in cross‑functional and HOD Trade Plan meetings and manage meeting minutes
  • Set up and manage all promotional campaigns in internal systems, including seasonal and special events
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Marketing, Demand Planning, and Commercial teams to ensure promotion execution
  • Manage promotion pricing and mechanics across online delivery platforms (e.g. Grab, Foodpanda)
  • Maintain and update promotion files, trackers, and historical performance records
  • Oversee non‑trade space rental activities, including availability tracking, deal coordination, contracts, and invoicing
  • Support administrative tasks and store communications related to Commercial activities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in trade planning, merchandising, or commercial operations
  • Experience in promotion planning, reporting, and campaign execution
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills; comfortable with systems and online platforms
  • Good English communication and presentation skills
  • Able to coordinate with Commercial, Marketing, SRD and Operations
