As a Senior Commercial Planning Specialist, you will be play a critical role in shaping strategic business initiatives and ensuring commercial success. Your core responsibilities include market analysis, revenue forecasting/modelling, and performance tracking. You will also serve as a bridge between data-driven insights and actionable commercial strategies, enabling product innovation, growth, and profitability.

Strategic and Business Planning:

  • Develop and conduct business planning models to support revenue forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, providing updates and recommendations to product owners and senior management.

Market and Customer Intelligence:

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities, risks, and evolving consumer needs.
  • Analyze B2C segment performance and user behavior trends to identify levers for growth and retention.
  • Monitor telecommunications industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities based on customer insights and data.

Product Performance and Innovation

  • Collaborating with product teams to analyze user engagement, drop-offs, and behavior using dashboards, analytics tools, and surveys.
  • Translate product insights into recommendations for enhancement or new offerings.

Growth and commercial Strategies

  • Lead cross-functional planning to develop and implement initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, ARPU growth, and digital adoption.
  • Contribute to business case development for new commercial initiatives or partnerships.

Reporting & Communication

  • Create compelling presentations and reports for executive leadership, highlighting trends, performance drivers, and actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that track product, segment, and revenue performance KPIs.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in business planning, customer insights, financial analysis, or strategy development, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry trends and regulations is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Skills:

  • Technical skills: Proficient in data analysis and deriving valuable business insights
  • Strong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders from multiple departments.
  • Learning agility: Ability to learn fast about new technology and convert technical features into customer benefits
  • Analytical Skills: high level of analytical and quantitative skills, possesses the ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and fact-based conclusion.
  • Strong financial analytical capabilities that are used to further develop in-formed product strategies, which subsequently improve product performance
  • Focus: ability to keep focus on busy environment and ability to prioritize multiple interrelated tasks at same time; ability to organize, plan and lead projects from conception to completion
  • Strong business sense: ability to identify and articulate key reasons customers buy
  • Personality: The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change. Enthusiastic, positive, problem solver, resourceful, innovative thinker.
