Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  • Conduct daily, periodic, and pre/post-operation inspections on vehicles.
  • Check vehicle systems such as brakes, lights, tires, steering, suspension, engine, and transmission for compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Record inspection results and report any defects or non-compliance issues.
  • Verify maintenance and repair work completed by mechanics to ensure quality.
  • Ensure vehicles meet government regulatory requirements (roadworthiness, emissions, licensing).
  • Monitor and update inspection schedules, logs, and documentation.
  • Recommend corrective actions, repairs, or preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with fleet and workshop teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Promote safety awareness and compliance among drivers and mechanics.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, or technical supervision (2–3 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and safety systems.
  • Familiar with local transport regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to detect defects and assess vehicle roadworthiness.
  • Good reporting and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, fleet management systems).
