MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY This is a sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services and building relationships with new and existing customers. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Enhance/improve/introduce the company’s relationship and alignment with assigned accounts 2. Manage relationships with key account customers and approach potential target to be Makro customers. Also identify market opportunity, un-tapped areas to increase sales and margin. 3. Work closely with Key Account HO to define development strategy for individual Key Account Customers to increase customer spending and loyalty. 4. Dealing with the Influence and Decision Maker of Key Account Customers to succeed the Top Line and Bottom Line target (KPIs: Sales & Profit and number of valuable accounts) 5. Work with Store SGM/CDM/ASGM/Fresh Manager/Section Manager and Commercial to develop effective customer activities plan by individual Key Account Customer on a regular basis 6. Work with Store Operation team (SGM/CDM/ASGM) to ensure effective communication/ transaction of customer agreement and expectation to meet 100% customer satisfaction. 7. Coordinate with Commercial team, Quality Assurance, and O2O store team to ensure product supply and product quality are within an agreement with Key Account Customers. 8. Work with Finance on risk assessment of those potential customers to ensure zero risk to Makro. 9. Collaborate, prepare and support documents for Legal on credit sales agreement to be in line flavor of Makro. 10. Ensure good working relationship with internal and external customer in achievement of optimum customer satisfaction. 11. Others tasks are assigned from managements.
• Assist the Product Group Manager/Merchandising Manager in the assortment selection and purchase of merchandise to maximize sales. • Monitor sales and inventory on a weekly basis and report out to the team weekly. • Perform merchandise order process for assigned merchandise category: merchandise order creation, manage approval process, vendor follow-up, management of delivery schedules, receipts/deliveries and cancellations • Perform competitive shopping activities to assess the competition and make strategic recommendations with Merchandise Buyer in response to the competition and market activity • Participate in regularly held business meetings; provide feedback and help establish strategies in conjunction with Merchandise Buyer. • Provide basic analysis of key business data and reporting, including the creation and monitoring of selling reports, vendor reports, stock analysis and other ad hoc reports • Develop effective relationships with supplier and appropriately interact with them to follow up on open business issues. • Begin to effectively utilize the merchandising systems and understand the merchandise process • Develop and demonstrate basic product knowledge through sharing information gained from competitive shopping and market analysis
