Job Description

  • Drive sales growth and achieve assigned targets by effectively managing and developing the sales team within the assigned area.
  • Develop and execute area sales strategies and action plans to expand customer base and strengthen market presence.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Supervisors and Sales Executives to consistently meet or exceed sales and profitability targets.
  • Prepare and implement area sales forecasts, budgets, and performance plans in line with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively participating in sales planning and execution.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to implement promotional activities and area-based sales campaigns.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure excellent customer relationship management and high service standards across the assigned area.
  • Provide market feedback, customer insights, and sales performance updates to Management through regular reports and presentations.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure timely follow-up and problem resolution.
  • Contribute to overall business success through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role (F&B, FMCG, or distribution industry preferred).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative in sales strategies, marketing concepts, and business development approaches.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet).
  • Willing and able to work in the field, including weekends and after office hours when required.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills to ensure KPI achievement and timely deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams at all levels.
