Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Oversee daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including maintenance scheduling, repairs, fuel management, and vehicle registration.
  • Monitor and control fleet costs, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs. Develop and manage the fleet budget.
  • Ensure fleet operations adhere to safety standards, government regulations, and company policies. Regularly review and update fleet management policies.
  • Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle locations, usage, and maintenance history. Generate regular reports to provide insights on fleet utilization and costs.
  • Coordinate with HR to maintain up-to-date records on drivers’ licenses, certifications, and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Manage accident reporting, coordinate repairs, and handle insurance claims related to fleet vehicles.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation, with 3+ years in a managerial role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair practices.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance for fleet operations.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and with external partners.
