Job Purpose:

The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily human resources operations, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, and supporting organizational goals through recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Supervise the end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, screening, interviewing, hiring).
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Prepare employment contracts and related documentation.
  • Monitor manpower planning and workforce requirements.

2. Employee Relations

  • Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure proper implementation of company policies and code of conduct.
  • Promote positive employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and overtime.

3. Payroll & Compensation

  • Review and verify monthly payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, NSSF, etc.).
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.

4. Performance Management & Training

  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes (KPI setting and evaluation).
  • Identify training needs and organize staff development programs.
  • Support managers in performance improvement initiatives.

5. HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee database.
  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover rate, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Support HR audits and inspections when required.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
