Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

  • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and IAS standards.
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
  • Review and approve tax reports, payment vouchers, and monthly financial submissions.
  • Manage financial audits, internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide high-level consultation to clients on accounting, tax planning, and financial strategy.
  • Supervise junior and mid-level accountants, providing guidance, coaching, and performance review.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Maintain updated knowledge on changes in Cambodian tax law and international accounting standards.
  • Collaborate closely with executive management and contribute to financial planning and risk management.
  • Report directly to the Accounting Manager and support strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing (Master’s degree is preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • At least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role managing a team or key financial functions.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
  • Proficient in accounting software (preferably Xero, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems).
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Able to lead multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Khmer.
  • Ethical, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
