Role and Responsibilities of Accounting Officer The Purchase Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the company in a cost-effective and timely manner, while ensuring quality and compliance with internal policies and supplier agreements. Key Responsibilities: Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value for the company. Process purchase requests, prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor inventory levels (marketing material & spare parts) and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain adequate stock without over-purchasing or stock out. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and price comparisons. Conduct supplier evaluations and develop strong vendor relationships. Ensure purchased items meet quality standards, specifications. Coordinate with Finance and Warehouse teams to ensure proper invoicing, payments, and delivery verification. Assist in cost control by identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements. Comply with company policies, procurement procedures, and legal/ethical standards. Prepare procurement reports and support audits as required.
Greet customers in a courteous and timely manner. Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support. Interpret customer concerns for the mechanic, so that the mechanic can diagnose and service the motor accordingly. Organize and manage scheduling for service appointments.
