Front Desk & Patient Services
• Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring timely and professional handling of patient inquiries, calls, and appointments.
• Ensure reception staff provide a welcoming and professional experience for all patients.
• Handle escalated patient concerns and resolve service-related issues.
Staff Supervision & Training
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule reception staff.
• Train new receptionists on clinic policies, patient service, and software systems.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback.
Administrative Duties
• Ensure accurate patient registration, billing, and record management.
• Maintain appointment schedules, cancellations, and reminders.
• Oversee compliance with clinic policies, health regulations, and confidentiality (HIPAA/local data protection laws).
Communication & Coordination
• Liaise with dentists, hygienists, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Coordinate with the practice manager/clinic manager for staffing needs and operational improvements.
• Assist in implementing new systems or technologies to improve front desk efficiency.
Reporting & Improvement
• Prepare reports on front desk performance, appointment trends, and patient feedback.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
