Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

• Lead and manage the overall card issuing business for Credit, Debit, and CSS portfolio, including growth strategy and performance tracking

• Develop and manage card product propositions (features, benefits, pricing, fees) for VISA, Mastercard, and CSS cards

• Drive card acquisition, activation, and usage campaigns to increase portfolio size and transaction volume across all schemes (VISA, Mastercard, CSS)

• Monitor and optimize portfolio performance metrics including active rate, spend per card, and transaction volume

• Manage portfolio segmentation strategies (active/inactive, usage behavior, spend categories) to improve engagement and retention

• Oversee product lifecycle management including new product launches, enhancements, and migration across schemes (including CSS)

• Track and optimize revenue streams including interchange, fees, FX income, and interest income

• Coordinate with Risk, Fraud, and Collections to ensure portfolio quality, credit performance, and fraud control are maintained

• Work closely with Marketing and Digital teams to drive campaign effectiveness and digital usage (eCommerce, contactless, tokenization where applicable).

• Ensure compliance with card scheme rules (VISA, Mastercard, CSS), regulatory requirements, and internal policies

• Prepare and present portfolio performance reports and business insights to management.

• Collaborate with IT and Operations to enhance system capabilities and customer experience.

• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

• Manage relationships with card schemes and network partners, including VISA, Mastercard, and CSS

• Train and supervise team members within the Issuing Business and Portfolio unit

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Banking, Marketing, or related field

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in card issuing, product, or portfolio management in banking

• Strong understanding of card business across VISA, Mastercard, and CSS networks

• Experience managing Credit, Debit, and/or CSS portfolios is highly preferred

• Knowledge of card scheme rules, pricing models, and regulatory requirements

• Strong analytical skills in portfolio management, segmentation, and performance tracking

• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis/reporting tools
