People & Culture Strategy and Leadership
• Lead the People and Culture Department, set annual priorities and work plans, and provide strategic HR advice to senior management.
• Effectively communicate Top Management’s direction to staff and facilitate mutual understanding across the organization.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management
• Develop and oversee recruitment and selection strategies to attract, assess, onboard, and retain qualified talent across the organization.
• Ensure effective manpower planning, probation management, internal mobility, talent pipelines, and succession planning.
Performance Planning and Management
• Lead the organization-wide performance planning cycle, including KPI alignment, goal setting, evaluation standards, and performance reviews.
• Oversee fair and consistent performance management, including probation evaluation, feedback, performance improvement, and calibration.
Learning, Development and Talent Management
• Identify capability gaps and establish learning priorities aligned with business needs, employee performance, and future capability requirements.
• Develop programs that strengthen technical skills, leadership capability, career development, succession readiness, and employee retention.
Compensation, Benefits and Rewards
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to maintain internal equity, policy compliance, market competitiveness, and alignment with the Bank's strategy.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and other staff issues
HR Systems, Compliance, Employee Relations and Administration
• Oversee HR systems, employee records, HR policies, procedures, and digital processes to improve efficiency, data accuracy, governance, and service quality.
• Ensure HR compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Guide employee relations, workplace concerns, disciplinary matters, grievances, confidential employee information, HR administration, and general support services in a fair and consistent manner.
• Oversee general administration and operational support for Head Office and branches.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Proven progressive experience in Human Resources and People Management, including substantial experience leading an HR/People function or department. Experience in banking, financial services, or a regulated environment is an advantage.
  • Strategic Leadership: Strong capability in workforce planning, organizational development, change management, performance management, talent development, and HR strategy execution.
  • HR Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, HR policies, HR systems, and applicable employment requirements.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and employees at all levels.
  • Analytical & Business Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use HR data, reports, and market information to provide practical business recommendations.
  • Technology & Systems: Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace and familiar with HRIS, HR reporting tools, and digital HR processes.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, solution-focused, commercially aware, and committed to professional ethics, confidentiality, and employee well-being.
  • Language: Good command of English. Korean language capability is an advantage.
