Summary: The position is to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.
You must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards and will also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.Reporting to: Managing Director
Responsibilities:● Minimize the exposure to safety-related risks of LBL personnel and its Subcontractors● Inspect, evaluate, and analyze work environments, equipment and practices from a safety at work standpoint● Monitor and record list of hazard material on site (file all MSDS – Material Safety Data Sheet – as required)● Recommend measures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors and help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. Investigate health-related complaints● Check pollution and housekeeping● Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations on the health and safety of individuals and monitor introduction of new laws● Organize and monitor safety training and education programs, in liaison with training center and facilitators● Investigate and report on all incidents and near misses that occur on site. Assist injured parties, and department heads to complete incident forms● Prepare statistics for the project● Check and ensure all workers and staff wear the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)● Manages and supervises all safety team to implement safety inspection on site and safety procedure work smoothly.

Job Requirements
● Bachelor Degree of Civil Engineering or equivalent● At least 5 years working experience in Safety in construction is plus● Good command of Khmer and English, both spoken and written (must be able to write reports)● Computer fluency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
● Good in inter-personal skills, must be able to communicate well with staff and governmental institutions● Must be able to prepare and deliver simple training and presentation material● Strong team player, working effectively with all staff members at all levels● Global mindset, pro-active, analytical, problem-solving, paired with a very clear hands-on mentality
