• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years in automotive engineering; 2+ in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of CAD, FEA, and automotive design standards.
• Experience with product development cycles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in CAD (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks), FEA (e.g., ANSYS), and PLM systems.
• Project Management: Strong planning, budgeting, and resource allocation skills; familiarity with Agile or Stage-Gate methodologies.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, tooling, and assembly techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other industry standards.
• Problem Solving: Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present technical information clearly.
• Leadership: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive results.
