Managing & responsibility for profit & loss
Business Development
Tendering & Bid preparation
Responsible for budgeting, production planning, staffing, and inventory levels
Full financial responsibility - including reviews & analysis of expenditure
Develop operations plan and direct overall activities to assist in achieving total construction objectives
Ensure and monitor project progress and/or delays and take corrective steps so as to meet Projects deadline.
To implement/follow proper QA/QC procedures by maintaining and following Project QA/QC Manual
Organizational restructuring, recruiting, training and development along with succession planning in coordination with the HR Dept at Group level.
To lead and mentor a team of Mechanical and Electrical Managers on Site so as to obtain best results in line with the agreed goals.
To oversee and enforce the implementation of HSE by MEP Contractors
To provide Board Members with adequate and timely reports on the company’s activities.
Coordinate with the Group areas to assure a streamlined business process and comply with Corporate guidelines
Any other duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements

Degree in Engineering from a reputable educational institution.
5 -10+ years of experience in managing and growing large MEP company
A team player, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
General Management experience in MEP industry
Strong knowledge of MEP Systems (all aspects - design, function, installations, testing & commissioning and coordination with other trades)
Advanced understanding of construction planning, estimating and commercial processes, and supervision of large projects essential.
Strong knowledge of scheduling/planning and tracking of progress
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication
Knowledge of risk assessment and contingency planning.
Ability to work with difficult deadlines and under pressure
Negotiation/ Presentation/ Decision Making Skills
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to represent the company externally with key stakeholders
