Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering within the automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, and lean principles.
• Experience with process validation, equipment commissioning, and project management.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IATF 16949)
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
Required Skills:
• Manufacturing process design and optimization
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• CAD and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, FlexSim)
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving (e.g., FMEA, 8D, SPC)
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration
• ERP and MES system proficiency
• Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with ICE, electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing or advanced automotive technologies
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and smart factory systems
• Certification in PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and ISO standards
• Multilingual capabilities for global operations
