An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
Working out the human and material resources needed;
Drafting a timescale for the job;
Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmed;
Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
Working with supervisor / managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
Reviewing the performance of subordinates;
Identifying training needs.

Job Requirements

Usually require a bachelor's degree - business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology and / or experience in production body builder and manufacturing processes and techniques.
Minimum of 3+ years of production assembly and / or body builder experience, and 1 year at shop floor management position.

knowledge of basic quality systems and standards.
knowledge of basic health and safety standards and compliance.
knowledge of process improvement techniques.
knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
knowledge of machines and tools.
knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
