Daily Key Tasks

  • Monitor sales consultants’ activities (customer greetings, test drives, follow-ups).
  • Support consultants in negotiations, product presentations, and paperwork.
  • Check showroom readiness: vehicle displays, cleanliness, brochures, price lists.
  • Track and update sales board/CRM with daily inquiries, test drives, and deals.
  • Ensure consultants follow customer engagement standards (professional dress, scripts, process).
  • Report urgent sales issues to Sales Manager (pricing, stock, customer complaints).
  • Motivate and energize the team with quick check-ins.
  • Follow up on customers who visited but did not close deals.
  • Verify consultants submit proper documentation for each deal.

 

Weekly Key Tasks

  • Review consultant performance (calls, leads, test drives, conversions).
  • Hold small team training sessions (objection handling, product knowledge).
  • Support Sales Manager in preparing weekly sales review reports.
  • Track and monitor hot leads/follow-ups to ensure consultants close them.
  • Evaluate stock movement and recommend priority push models.
  • Monitor competitor promotions and share updates with the team.
  • Check consultants’ attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
  • Ensure smooth handover process between sales and aftersales for new customers.
  • Provide feedback on showroom customer flow and sales process improvements.
  • Identify underperforming consultants and suggest corrective actions.

 

Monthly Key Tasks

  • Consolidate consultant performance data for Sales Manager review.
  • Recommend recognition, incentives, or warnings for consultants based on performance.
  • Assist Sales Manager in planning and executing monthly showroom events/promotions.
  • Review customer satisfaction feedback and propose improvements.
  • Update and review monthly sales funnel with Sales Manager.
  • Monitor aged stock sales activities and promotions with team.
  • Conduct monthly product knowledge quiz or role-play to improve consultant skills.
  • Help align sales activities with marketing campaigns and showroom needs.
  • Provide input for next month’s sales target planning.
  • Support in preparing monthly sales strategy presentations to GM.

Job Requirements

  •   Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  •  Automotive sales training or certification is an added advantage

Experience

  •  3–5 years of experience in automotive sales
  •   Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role
  •   Experience with vehicle sales (cars, bikes, commercial vehicles, or auto parts)

Skills & Competencies

  •   Strong leadership and team management skills
  •   Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities
  •   Ability to plan and achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  •   Knowledge of automotive products, features, financing, and insurance
  •   Customer relationship management and complaint handling skills

Responsibilities & Capabilities

  •   Supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
  •   Monitor daily sales activities and performance reports
  •  Ensure excellent customer service and showroom standards
  •  Coordinate with marketing, finance, and after-sales teams
  •   Train, coach, and evaluate sales consultants

Technical Skills

  •   Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/DMS systems
  •   Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports
