We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, inventory, and in-country distribution to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high customer satisfaction. This role encompasses the strategic planning, analytical thinking, implementation, and control of supply chain activities, ensuring that products are delivered to customers efficiently and cost-effectively by ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, risk management to include specific strategies for dealing with supply chain disruptions, integrating new technologies and automation in supply chain processes, implementing and managing sustainable supply chain practices and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain network.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance throughout the supply chain network.
  • Optimize inventory management processes, including demand planning, inventory control, and stock replenishment, to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and carrying costs.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers and warehouse transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, regulations, and procedures related to supply chain operations, maintaining documentation and records as necessary.
  • Implement supply chain risk management strategies, assessing potential risks, vulnerabilities, and disruptions, and developing contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, production, sales, and finance teams, to align supply chain activities with business objectives, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies in supply chain management, staying updated on best practices and innovations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate supply chain goals, objectives, and performance metrics to senior management and key stakeholders, presenting regular updates, reports, and recommendations.
  • Drive sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives within the supply chain, promoting ethical sourcing, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, in-country distribution or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the entire supply chain process, including Inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control systems and demand forecasting techniques to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Ability to manage outsource transporters and own delivery team to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.
  • Proficiency in managing shipping logistics, transportation optimization, and cost-effective routing.
  • Experience using supply chain technologies and systems (ERP, WMS, SAP).
  • Ability to analyze supply chain data, generate reports, and leverage data-driven insights to improve operations and performance.
