Define standards and templates for new APIs and interfaces. Ensure consistent patterns across services.
Implement message transformation logic, data enrichment, and dynamic routing as per system needs.
Collaborate with DevOps to automate builds, tests, and deployments of integration artifacts.
Ensure backward compatibility and planned retirement of legacy services with proper stakeholder notice.
Implement comprehensive logging, tracing, and alerting for visibility into integration transactions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred)
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
5+ years in software/system integration roles
Experience working on enterprise integration platforms and service buses
Knowledge of API mediation, transformation, and orchestration (e.g., WSO2 MI/ESB)
Experience working on multi-environment deployments including DR
Deep understanding of interface mapping, contract-first API design, and payload transformation
Familiarity with security measures including payload encryption, token validation, and audit trace
Experience managing legacy-to-modernization transitions (monolith to microservices)
Understanding of asynchronous communication (message queues, event sourcing)
