We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and bilingual Assistant to support a Chinese-speaking Manager in daily operations and communications. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the manager and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective task execution in both English and Chinese.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the manager in both English and Chinese.
  • Translate verbal and written communications between Chinese and English as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents in both languages.
  • Attend meetings and take notes/minutes; assist in follow-ups and action tracking.
  • Facilitate communication between the manager and Chinese-speaking clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Manage correspondence (email, phone calls, letters) and ensure timely responses.
  • Assist in project coordination, research, and data compilation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in all interactions.

Job Requirements

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and good in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong translation and interpretation skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Communication, or related field).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in a bilingual environment.
  • Experience working with or supporting Chinese-speaking professionals is a plus.

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
