Job Description

  • Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
  • Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
  • Able to teach a variety of subject.
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
  • Organize supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
  • Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
  • Plan and implement educational activities and events.
  • Evaluate and document students’ progress.
  • Allocate and grade homework, assignments, and tests.
  • Manage and oversee the aspects of all F&B sections and other teaching programs in and off the campus, in collaboration with the instructor team, and the supporting departments at PIE.
  • Works closely with the Dean, to create the curriculum plans based on the academy’s goals, fulfill, and achieve the training objectives of PIE
  • Assists in the planning and execution of the day-to-day operations of the training program, oversees quality of training, and ensures training is implemented within the set budget and time parameters
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and assist the Dean in ensuring the PIE curriculum is current and meets industry needs and communicate relevant, real-world experiences to the students

Job Requirements

  • A high degree of technical, practical, and F&B management knowledge and ability to relay information in a manner that provides a positive learning experience and instils a passion for the profession
  • Certified experience within the field of Food & Beverage, preferably with teaching background in a Hospitality Academic Institution
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges
  • Comfortable in being part of a team responsible for establishing a new educational institution
  • MS Office, Online-teaching
  • English: Proficient ILETS 7 / C1 / Khmer: Is an advantage
