Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Lead the setup and execution of regular reserve and solvency calculations for both regulatory and group reporting.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models for valuation, business planning, and ad-hoc financial projections; ensure new product models are correctly integrated into Prophet.
  • Conduct annual experience studies and prepare regulatory reports, including actuarial opinion reports.
  • Perform actuarial investigations, such as persistency analysis and other relevant studies.
  • Support the development, testing, and go-live readiness of IFRS 17 implementation, including parallel runs.
  • Provide technical support on actuarial and product-related matters across departments.
  • Foster a strong learning culture by encouraging actuarial study and exam-taking, while actively building technical competency within the local actuarial team.
  • Participate in other tasks or projects as assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.
  • Associateship of a recognized actuarial body (e.g. SoA, IFoA, IAAust), or strong progress in actuarial exams.
  • Proficiency in English communication, verbal & written.
  • A team player, hard-working, committed & with good interpersonal skills.
