Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

1. Store Operations

  • Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store activities
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and complies with company standards
  • Monitor opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure all operational processes follow company policies                                                                                           

2. Staff Supervision

  • Supervise and support store employees during shifts
  • Assign tasks and monitor staff performance
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members
  • Handle staff attendance, discipline, and scheduling (if required)                                                                                     

3. Customer Service

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints professionally and quickly
  • Support staff in handling difficult customer situations
  • Promote a positive shopping experience                                                                                                                                

4. Sales & Performance

  • Monitor daily sales and help achieve store targets
  • Support promotional activities and in-store campaigns
  • Analyze sales trends and suggest improvements
  • Motivate staff to increase sales performance                                                                                                                      

5. Inventory Management

  • Assist with stock control and inventory checks
  • Monitor product availability and reduce stock shortages
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and display of goods
  • Prevent loss, damage, and shrinkage                                                                                                                                     

  6. Merchandising & Display

  • Ensure products are displayed according to company guidelines
  • Maintain attractive and organized shelves
  • Support visual merchandising activities                                                                                                                                 

7. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Monitor hygiene standards, especially for food products
  • Report any operational or safety issues

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)-At least 1–3 years of experience in retail or supermarket operations-Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills (POS system, MS Office)
