Job Description

  • Prepare a personal action plan covering all responsibilities of this position.
  • Formulate loan arrears and write-off collection plans for the whole organization.
  • Review and set out the details of monthly actions plan and target of WO recoveries down to all the concerned Loan Collection Officer and Loan Recovery Officer and whole team.
  • Formulate effective and efficient channels of recovery, accessible from the branch offices.
  • Coordinate the effective recovery of delinquent loans and write off loans.
  • Implement an effective and efficient with some procedure/process that properly addresses in the Credit Manual.
  • Manage loan default by undertaking daily to monthly analysis and reporting issues/exceptions/severity to Head, Credit Control and Collection and Chief Credit Officer.
  • Work with the Regional Manager and BM/RMS to define the reason behind non-repayment and to extent prevention strategies.
  • Deal with legal proceedings (prepare Complaint file and role as plaintiff to the court).
  • Deal with late clients, local authority, and police in any case.
  • Coordinate/arrange/approve the schedule of plan request of his/her subordinate.
  • Identify annual training courses on bad debt collection for branch staff and mobile loan recovery team.
  • Other tasks or overtime required by supervisor/manager if needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor/master’s degree (Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields)
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a credit management function.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and cash flow analysis, industry/market credit research.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must have excellent negotiation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have good training skills - ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner as well as actively listening to participants’ concerns, questions and ideas.
  • Computer knowledge (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet & Email.
