Job Description

Daily Key Tasks

  • Review incoming applications and resumes for open positions.
  • Screen candidates and schedule interviews with department managers.
  • Maintain candidate database and update status in HR system.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules, follow-ups, and feedback.
  • Coordinate with HR Manager and department managers for urgent staffing needs.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs: number of applications, interviews scheduled, offers made.
  • Post job openings on appropriate platforms (job boards, social media, company website).
  • Respond to recruitment-related queries from candidates and internal staff.
  • Track daily recruitment progress and update HR Manager.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with recruitment policies.

 

Weekly Key Tasks

  • Conduct weekly recruitment review meeting with HR Manager and department heads.
  • Evaluate recruitment pipeline and ensure alignment with staffing requirements.
  • Prepare shortlist of candidates for managerial or specialized positions.
  • Review recruitment channels and assess effectiveness.
  • Conduct initial screening calls or interviews for shortlisted candidates.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment tests.
  • Monitor weekly recruitment KPIs: time-to-fill, quality of hires, offer acceptance rate.
  • Plan and schedule recruitment drives, campus hiring, or job fairs if needed.
  • Provide weekly updates on recruitment status to HR Manager.
  • Ensure job descriptions and specifications are up-to-date for all positions.

 

Monthly Key Tasks

  • Analyse monthly recruitment performance: number of hires, quality, time-to-fill, and turnover.
  • Prepare monthly recruitment report for HR Manager and GM.
  • Review recruitment strategies and adjust sourcing channels for efficiency.
  • Plan recruitment needs for upcoming month/quarter based on business requirements.
  • Conduct monthly review of recruitment process compliance and SOP adherence.
  • Evaluate recruitment vendor/agency performance and contracts.
  • Develop and implement recruitment campaigns for hard-to-fill or critical positions.
  • Align recruitment activities with HR strategy and organizational growth.
  • Recommend improvements in interview process, candidate assessment, and onboarding.
  • Plan recruitment-related training for HR team or hiring managers.

Job Requirements

  •   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  •   HR certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience

  •  1–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
  •  Familiarity with end-to-end recruitment processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Ability to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
  •   Knowledge of job portals, social media, and recruitment tools
  •  Basic understanding of labor laws and HR policies
  •  Good organizational and time-management skills
  •  Ability to work independently and meet hiring deadlines
