Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive market research on competitors, industry trends, consumer behavior, and service performance.
• Synthesize external market data to uncover opportunities and threats that influence strategic initiatives.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Lead complex data analysis to support business planning, optimization, and performance measurement.
• Design, develop and maintain advanced BI dashboards, metrics, and automated reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Extract and manipulate large datasets using SQL and other BI tools to build meaningful insights and predictive models.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, operations, product, and finance teams to refine KPIs and interpret analytical results into actionable business recommendations.
• Present results and strategic insights to senior management with clarity and influence.

Strategy Support & Decision Intelligence

• Provide leadership in analyzing campaign performance, user acquisition funnels, retention metrics, and pricing strategies.
• Help formulate data-driven strategies that support business goals such as growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Mentorship & Best Practices

• Coach and mentor junior BI and analytics team members.
• Promote best practices in data governance, visualization standards, and analytical methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Market Research, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• A Master’s degree or postgraduate qualifications in analytics or business intelligence is a plus.

Experience

• 3–7+ years’ experience in market research, business intelligence, data analysis, or a related analytics function.
• Proven experience in a senior or lead role guiding analytics initiatives is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) for dashboarding and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles.

Analytical & Strategic Competencies

• Expert analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and statistical interpretation capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively across departments and influence strategic decisions.

Leadership & Communication

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate data insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading small analytics teams.

Language

• Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Khmer and Chinese is an asset given WOWNOW’s multilingual environment.
