Growing Smart's business and improving nationwide branding and sales, the company will focus on expanding its dealer network, enhancing dealer education, optimizing product distribution, and analysing sales performance to propose strategic business actions.

1. Distributor Management Scope:

  • Drive distributor and agency performance by setting goals, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring sales, revenue, and growth targets are met.
  • Implement trade and sales programs that fit local market needs and improve product availability and visibility.
  • Provide market insights and performance reports to guide business decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy in stock, cash, and reporting processes.
  • Support distributor teams through training, communication, and use of digital tools.
  • Build and maintain strong agency structures, documentation, and contracts.

 2. Dealer and Smart Shop Sales Execution

  • Support the expansion of the dealer network in new coverage areas by identifying and enabling potential partners.
  • Implement local sales initiatives and dealer education programs to increase sales performance and channel productivity.
  • Monitor Smart Shop sales and promotional activities to ensure alignment with KPIs and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with cluster heads to prepare performance reports and propose business actions to address shop-level issues.

3. Operational Coordination & Performance Monitoring

  • Coordinate with Smart Shop Operations to assess shop efficiency and recommend action plans for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze shop-level data to propose solutions for performance enhancement.
  • Ensure execution of field sales events, SIM distribution, and other localized campaigns according to plan and guidelines.
  • Work with cluster and analytic teams to produce reports identifying subscriber growth opportunities in specific locations.

4. Risk Management & Compliance Support

  • Identify potential fraud risks within Smart Shops and propose mitigation steps to direct line managers.
  • Coordinate with internal audit teams to complete case resolution processes for identified fraud cases.
  • Ensure operational activities align with audit, compliance, and internal policy requirements.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Smart Shop Operations, analytics, digital, and IT teams to implement tools and initiatives that improve field execution.
  • Support the development and deployment of tools like dealer apps, e-KYC, and CRM platforms to improve productivity.
  • Participate in community engagement activities with local stakeholders to gather feedback and identify business opportunities.

6. Reporting & Local Strategy Support

  • Produce SWOT analyses and reports on dealer and Smart Shop performance to identify areas for training and operational improvement.
  • Monitor stock reconciliation processes and provide recommendations to Smart Shop teams.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements to expedite task resolution.

7. Support to Department Head

  • Assist the department head with project execution as assigned and ensure timely delivery of operational goals.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment on timelines, project deliverables, and compliance expectations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in sales operations, retail/channel management, or field execution, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with dealer/distributor models and retail operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales tracking tools, reporting, and performance management.
  • Understanding of channel sales operations, retail shop performance, and basic compliance procedures.
  • Ability to interpret data to drive performance-based decisions and localized strategies.
  • Exposure to digital tools and platforms relevant to sales (e.g., CRM, dealer systems).
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead field teams and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks across departments.
