An Exciting Opportunity for ...

The Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing business development initiatives and managing the team to drive the market expansion and client implementation of the company’s hardware and software products within the food and beverage industry. This role ensures the smooth execution of the entire process—from merchant acquisition and sales closure to equipment deployment—in order to achieve business growth objectives. Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Formulate business development plans and sales targets based on the company’s overall strategy, and decompose these into actionable items to drive execution;
  2. Manage the work allocation of business development staff, monitor sales progress, and ensure timely achievement of performance indicators;
  3. Expand key resources such as medium-to-large restaurant chains and industry-leading clients; lead or participate in negotiations and implementation of major client accounts;
  4. Guide the team in merchant acquisition, product presentation, proposal delivery, and commercial negotiations to improve contract conversion rates and client quality;
  5. Supervise the end-to-end process from contract signing to equipment installation and POS system activation, coordinating after-sales, customer service, and technical resources to ensure successful implementation;
  6. Support the team in resolving complex or exceptional issues during business execution to enhance customer satisfaction;
  7. Consolidate client feedback and feature suggestions, and regularly communicate with product, development, and marketing departments to promote product optimization and market alignment;
  8. Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales resources to ensure a closed-loop service process and improve customer experience;
  9. Recruit, train, and mentor business personnel to enhance team capabilities and execution, and cultivate a proactive and high-performing sales culture;
  10. Organize regular sales reviews, case sharing sessions, and pitch refinement initiatives to standardize and streamline sales methodologies and processes.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field;
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 1 year of experience in managing a sales team;
  3. Background in both B2C and B2B sales; familiarity with SaaS, POS systems, ERP, or integrated hardware-software solutions is a strong plus;
  4. Cambodian (Chinese Speaking)
