Technical:

• Working with Database software (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) to find ways to store, organize and manage data & troubleshooting.
• Keeping Databases up to date.
• Helping with database design and development.
• Designing maintenance procedures and applying them into operational
• Liaising with programmers, applications/operational staff, IT project managers and other technical staff.
• Managing database security/integrity and backup procedures.
• Defining objectives through consultation with staff at all levels.
• Writing reports, documentation, and operating manuals.
• Testing and modifying databases, application to ensure that they operate reliably.
• Providing user training, support, and feedback.
• Archiving data.
• Proper log review, reporting and recordation of resolutions (if any).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant certification.
• Proven working experience as a Database or Application support (minimum 2 years).
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.
• Experience on all or majority of below Oracle features is mandatory while Oracle DBA. related certification would be an added advantage.
