Job Description

  • Transaction Handling
    Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process cash, credit, debit, and voucher payments.
  • Customer Service
    Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and assist with product information or store policies to enhance satisfaction.
  • Receipts & Refunds
    Issue receipts, handle returns and exchanges according to store policy, and manage refunds when applicable.
  • Cash Management
    Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, reconcile transactions, and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Checkout Area Maintenance
    Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as bags and receipt paper.
  • Promotions & Loyalty Programs
    Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to encourage repeat business.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or bachelor degree in accounting.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
