Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Design and implement a comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategy aligned with business objectives for brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, and quick commerce.
  • Lead brand positioning and identity development to build a loved, trusted, and differentiated retail brand in Cambodia.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, constantly identifying market trends, consumer insights, and behavioral shifts to guide marketing plans.
  • Help introduce new categories for the brick-and-mortar as well as e-commerce and q-commerce channels periodically and help drive up category and market share

2. Brand Building & Awareness

  • Develop high-impact ATL/BTL and digital campaigns to drive awareness and footfalls across 2000+ physical stores.
  • Spearhead digital-first storytelling, influencer marketing, and community engagement to enhance brand equity online and offline.
  • Implement geo-targeted, hyperlocal marketing strategies to resonate with diverse Cambodian demographics.

3. Demand Generation & Customer Acquisition

  • Drive end-to-end demand generation campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels for:
  1. E-commerce (web + mobile)
  2. Quick-commerce
  3. Physical retail (store openings and ongoing traffic)
  • Develop media plans, digital funnels, and lifecycle marketing programs to increase customer acquisition and repeat transactions.

4. Loyalty & Rewards Ecosystem Integration

  • Help build a customer database for the brick-and-mortar business and link it to the existing Online commerce database and other opco data sources to create a seamless omnichannel shopping experience for the customers
  • Create strategies to cross sell / upsell to other OpCo customers and ensure repeat visits and purchases from the brick-and-mortar and Digital Stores
  • Work closely with product and tech teams to integrate the blockchain-based rewards platform into the marketing ecosystem.
  • Design and execute marketing programs that promote cashback as points to increase CLV (Customer Lifetime Value).
  • Develop targeted campaigns that leverage loyalty data to personalize offers and communications.

5. Campaign Management

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of campaigns from ideation, planning, and execution to tracking and performance optimization.
  • Define KPIs, build dashboards, and implement attribution models to measure marketing ROI across channels.
  • Champion the use of marketing automation, A/B testing, CRM, and analytics tools.

6. Joint Promotions & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Identify and launch co-branded campaigns and joint promotions with ecosystem partners, vendors, and third parties.
  • Act as the marketing liaison with other group operating companies, leveraging cross-promotional opportunities to unlock customer synergies and incremental sales.

7. Leadership & Team Building

  • Build and lead a high-performing team across brand, digital, loyalty, creative, and retail marketing.
  • Develop talent and marketing capabilities through mentorship, training, and structured career paths.

8. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with CXOs, merchandising, product, technology, retail ops, and finance to align marketing efforts with business needs.
  • Regularly present performance, insights, and strategic plans to board and executive teams.

Job Requirements

  • MBA in Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, including 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in omnichannel retail, ecommerce, or FMCG.
  • Proven experience in launching and scaling multilocation retail brands, especially in emerging markets.
  • Deep expertise in 360° marketing, including digital, retail, influencer, and experiential campaigns.
  • Understanding of blockchainbased loyalty systems or advanced CRM and personalization tools.
  • Proficiency in campaign analytics, digital marketing, marketing analytics, market research, marketing automation, funnel design, and CRM / Campaign Management platforms
  • Experience in crossborder marketing, localization, and multicultural consumer engagement is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Cambodian market or Southeast Asia retail dynamics.
  • Handson experience with retail footfall analytics, beacon-based marketing, or quick-commerce platforms.
