Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Finance Supervisor is responsible for driving financial performance across the end-to-end supply chain by providing accurate financial analysis, cost control, inventory governance, and business partnering support. The role works closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Operations teams to optimize manufacturing costs, improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic decision-making that contributes to sustainable business growth.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Engineering, and Operations teams to provide financial guidance.
  • Support business leaders with financial insights to improve operational performance.
  • Challenge business assumptions and recommend value-added solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial advice for operational decisions.

2. Cost Control & Manufacturing Finance

  • Monitor manufacturing costs and production efficiency.
  • Analyze material usage, labor costs, manufacturing overhead, and operational expenses.
  • Review standard costs and actual costs.
  • Investigate production variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.

3. Inventory Controlling

  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation.
  • Coordinate monthly inventory counts and annual stock takes.
  • Monitor inventory movements and stock adjustments.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.
  • Improve inventory accuracy through effective controls.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly Supply Chain financial reports.
  • Produce manufacturing cost reports.
  • Prepare inventory reconciliation reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze operational financial performance.

5. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare operational forecasts.
  • Analyze budget versus actual performance.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Recommend actions to improve forecast accuracy.

6. Financial Governance

  • Review accounting entries before posting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Strengthen financial controls.
  • Review inventory transactions.
  • Support implementation of financial procedures.

7. Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate external audits.
  • Support internal audit activities.
  • Prepare audit schedules.
  • Ensure tax compliance related to inventory and manufacturing.
  • Maintain proper supporting documentation.

8. Continuous Improvement

  • Improve reporting efficiency.
  • Automate finance reports using ERP and Excel.
  • Improve costing methodologies.
  • Develop dashboards for management.
  • Recommend process improvements across Supply Chain Finance.

9. Project Evaluation

  • Evaluate CAPEX investments.
  • Perform financial feasibility analysis.
  • Calculate ROI, payback period, and project profitability.
  • Identify financial risks before project approval.
  • Monitor project financial performance.

职位要求

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Supply Chain Finance
    • Cost Accounting
    • Manufacturing Finance
    • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
    • Operational Finance
  • Experience in FMCG, Brewery, Food Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of:

  • Approximately 10% travel for operational reviews, inventory counts, audits, and project implementation.
