Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity and budgetary control
Ensuring all accounting records are compliance with accounting standard and NBC as required
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles and improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Managing monthly and annual tax declarations and ensure timely submission as per deadline
Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
Providing tax planning, reviewing complex income tax returns, Identifying and mitigating tax risks
Preparing periodic financial and non-financial report to regional (Ascend group) on timely basis and ad-hoc request
Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions
Managing and coordinating tax audits, external and internal audits Preparing ad-hoc reports as required by superior

Job Requirements

Proven working experience as Finance / Accounting/Tax Manager, Accounting Supervisor or similar roles
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
Working Experience in Fintech Financial institution or Audit firm is more preferable
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases, SQL,MySQL, Python, Power BI, Power Query ...
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
BA in Accounting or Finance
