Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

1. Compliance Program Execution & Monitoring

  • Support implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and control checklists aligned with sandbox expectations.
  • Execute ongoing monitoring activities (control checks, transaction monitoring support, exception review) as assigned.
  • Maintain logs, records, and evidence to support audits, internal reviews, and regulatory interactions.

2. Risk Assessment & Control Testing

  • Support risk identification and assessment processes across business functions (Operations, Technology, Customer Service).
  • Perform control testing and document results; follow up on remediation actions with process owners.
  • Support maintenance of risk registers, control libraries, and issue tracking.

3. Incident, Breach & Issue Management Support

  • Support triage and documentation of compliance-related incidents, policy breaches, and operational risk issues.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action tracking to closure.
  • Support preparation of management reporting and escalation summaries when required.

4. Regulatory Support & Reporting

  • Support coordination for regulatory requests and information submissions; ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting evidence.
  • Assist in preparation of compliance reporting and internal management updates.
  • Maintain regulatory correspondence files and reference documentation in an organized manner.

5. Policy, Procedure & Training Support

  • Support drafting, updating, and communicating compliance policies and procedures in coordination with the Risk & Compliance Manager.
  • Support delivery of staff awareness and training programs (basic compliance, confidentiality, conduct).
  • Promote a culture of control discipline and integrity across the organization.

6. Cross-Functional Advisory Support

  • Provide practical guidance to teams on compliance requirements and documentation standards (within delegated authority).
  • Support reviews of new initiatives, workflows, and customer-facing communications for compliance considerations (as assigned).
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Technology on compliance matters where required.

Job Requirements

Education & Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field.

Experience (Essential)

  • 3–6 years of experience in compliance, risk, audit, or control functions (financial services/fintech is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of control processes, documentation discipline, and evidence requirements.
  • Experience supporting monitoring, control testing, and issue remediation tracking.
  • Strong integrity, confidentiality, and ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.

Experience (Highly Preferred)

  • Experience in regulated industries (banking, payments, fintech, securities, or telco).
  • Exposure to AML/CFT concepts, transaction monitoring, or compliance reporting.
  • Experience working with regulators or supporting regulatory examinations is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation habits.
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving; able to identify risks and propose practical controls.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to work effectively across functions.
  • Strong ownership and persistence to follow through on issues to closure.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work requires high confidentiality and independence in handling sensitive information.
  • May require extended hours during audits, investigations, or urgent regulatiory requests.
