Plan, assign, supervise the daily activity and auditors’ work, develop, maintaining productive client and staff relationships.
By collaborating with stakeholders to develop policies, procedures, schedules, priorities, and programs for achieving audit objectives and risk management objectives.
Identify, document processes and procedures surrounding internal controls to safeguard the SME Bank operation.
Ensure that all internal policies and procedures are fully complied by the Management and all staff members in SME Bank.
Advise the Management on implication of risk inherent with new products or activities and mitigation plan.
Prepare and update a comprehensive risk-based audit plan for evaluating the effectiveness of controls in place to manage significant risk exposures.
Establish procedures and plan for conducting audits of each department in SME Bank.
Coordinate activities with external auditors to support their audit and review procedures.
Provide training, coaching and guidance to internal auditors in conducting audit and other related issues.
Review the team works as agreed timeframe & audit report.
Communicate or assist in communicating the results of audit via written reports and oral presentations to managements and ensures management response and action to audit findings and recommendations as agreed timeframe.

Job Requirements

At least bachelor’s degree or related professional qualification (CTA / ACCA) in Accounting or Finance, related field is still preferred
At least 4 years’ experience in auditing or financial management in BFIs
Strong knowledge of internal control structures, and management skill
Good understanding of the national legal framework, including taxation and legal compliances
Integrity, honest, and principled individual
Able to make sound judgments, relevant and practical recommendations
Willingness to travel to provinces for audit, evaluation work, and other assignments.
Complex analytical, problem solving & decision-making skill
Influential communication & presentation skills
