  • Product Strategy & Design: Develop and execute the product roadmap for life insurance.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into the Cambodian insurance landscape, competitor pricing, and emerging customer needs to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Technical Drafting: Lead the creation of Policy Wordings, Terms & Conditions, and Benefit Illustrations, ensuring they are simple, transparent, and legally sound.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with the Actuarial team on pricing/risk, Operations on policy issuance, and Sales to ensure products are easy to explain and sell.
  • System Integration: Work with IT and Operations to ensure the Core Insurance System can accurately issue and manage the new products you build.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM): Lead the launch of new products and features, including the creation of sales scripts, training materials, and digital-first customer journeys.
  • Market Feedback Loop: Monitor the performance of newly launched products for the first 6–12 months and implement "Version 2.0" improvements based on sales feedback.
  • Competitive Defense: Monitor competitor launches and quickly develop "counter-products" or riders to protect RGI’s market share.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as loss ratios, lapse rates, and product profitability, making data-driven adjustments to the portfolio.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and marketing materials comply with the requirements of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia (IRC).

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in Product Management, Business Development, or Actuarial roles within the Insurance or Banking industry in Cambodia.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in busines Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or professional insurance certification like FLMI is a plus).
  • Language: Fluency in Khmer and professional proficiency in English are required.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into simple, customer-centric product features.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the "big picture" of how insurance fits into the Royal Group’s wider ecosystem (e.g., Wing Bank, Cellcard).
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across different departments without direct authority.
